Admission process and guidelines

Admissions to undergraduate programmes at S.B.V.R. Degree College, Badvel, are conducted in accordance with the guidelines of the Government of Andhra Pradesh and the affiliating university.

In Andhra Pradesh, admissions to all degree colleges are processed through the Online Admission Module for Degree Colleges (OAMDC). Eligible candidates must register on the OAMDC portal, submit their preferences, and complete certificate verification and seat-allotment procedures as notified by the competent authorities.

Admission is subject to eligibility requirements, availability of seats, verification of original certificates, and compliance with the applicable Government, university, and OAMDC regulations. Fee refund policy (Click for Proceedings)

In pursuance of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Notification on Fee Refund Policy 2024-25 communicated vide D.O. No. F.2-71/2022(CPP-II) dated 12th June 2024, and in compliance with the directions therein, the following policy regarding refund of fees from the Academic Session 2024-25 shall be strictly implemented in SBVR Degree College, Badvel.

1. Refund of Fees on Withdrawal of Admission:

• Full Refund (with deduction of not more than ?1,000 as processing fee) shall be made for all cancellations of admission/migration up to 30th September 2024.
• Refund with deduction of not more than ?1,000 as processing fee shall be made up to 31st October 2024.

2. Refund Policy from the Academic Year 2024-25

• 100% Refund – 15 days or more before the formally notified last date of admission.
• 90% Refund – Less than 15 days before the last date of admission.
• 80% Refund – 15 days or less after the last date of admission.
• 50% Refund – 30 days or less, but more than 15 days after the last date of admission.
• No Refund – More than 30 days after the last date of admission.

3. Applicability:

This policy is applicable to all students seeking admission into UG programs of SBVR Degree College, Badvel from the Academic Session 2024-25.

4. Grievance Redressal:

Any delay or denial of fee refund shall be treated as a grievance under the UGC (Redressal of Grievances of Students) Regulations, 2023. Students may approach the College Grievance Redressal Committee for resolution.

5. Compliance:

All Heads of Departments, Office Superintendent, Accounts Section, and Admission Committee are directed to ensure strict compliance with this order. Any violation will invite punitive action as per UGC norms.
