Research and Development Cell (Click for Details) (Research Policy)

SBVR is an Undergraduate College having two PG programs, hence, there is no provision of separate research center, and no budget is allocated for research. The College is not recognized as a research center. However, the management of the college identified the importance of research and encourages the faculty and students by providing financial assistance to attend National Seminars, Workshops conducted by universities and other institutions. The Management also encourages the faculty members and students to utilize the online journals subscribed by the institution to update their knowledge in their fields of study and to gain knowledge of current trends in the industry and research.

The management inspires the faculty to register for the research programs and they are encouraged to publish research papers in peer reviewed journals. The College Faculty, who have registered for research programs are given special leaves to carry out their research work smoothly. Faculty who are registered for Ph.D. research Program are given access to prevail the college laboratory, computing and library facilities to carry out their research work without any interruption. The Management of the institution allows the faculty to complete their research work through FIP.

The Management always encourages all the members of the faculty to register for research programs and provides special leaves to do their research. The College creates research temper by arranging guest lectures among the faculty and students by inviting eminent personalities to the college.

Incubation Centre/Start-ups/Entrepreneurship Cell (Click for Details)

The Incubation Centre and Entrepreneurship Cell at S.B.V.R. Degree College, Badvel, nurture innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurial thinking among students. The Cell encourages students to transform ideas into viable ventures through mentoring, skill-development programmes, workshops, expert interactions, business-plan preparation, and exposure to start-up opportunities.

It supports aspiring entrepreneurs by creating awareness of self-employment, government start-up schemes, financial assistance, market opportunities, and industry linkages. The initiative aims to develop confidence, leadership, problem-solving ability, and an enterprise-oriented mindset, enabling students to contribute productively to society and the local economy.

S.B.V.R. Degree College, Badvel, provides central facilities that support effective teaching, learning, research, student welfare, and campus life. These include a well-equipped library and reading facilities, ICT-enabled classrooms, computer laboratories, science laboratories, seminar halls, sports and games facilities, and a spacious campus environment.
