Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) plays a pivotal role in ensuring sustained quality enhancement and assurance in the institution. Established as a key component of the institution’s quality framework, the IQAC systematically reviews teaching-learning processes, operational methodologies, and learning outcomes at periodic intervals. By fostering a culture of continuous improvement, it ensures that institutional practices remain aligned with academic and professional excellence.

Contribution to Institutionalizing Quality Assurance Strategies and Processes

The IQAC has been instrumental in institutionalizing quality assurance strategies through the following initiatives:

1. Structured Frameworks for Quality Assurance:
   • The IQAC has developed comprehensive policies and frameworks that guide academic and administrative activities. These policies ensure consistency, transparency, and accountability across all institutional operations.
   • Regular audits and reviews are conducted to ensure adherence to these frameworks, with an emphasis on achieving measurable outcomes.
2. Promoting Innovative Teaching-Learning Practices:
   • The IQAC actively encourages the adoption of innovative teaching methodologies, such as blended learning, flipped classrooms, and experiential learning techniques.

Library

The institute has a library, it is fully automated, and it has a rich and varied collection of books and academic journals, both national and international. The College is subscribed to Inflibinet facilitating an online library facility for students and teachers around the clock. Ten Computers with Internet facilities are available for students and staff to make use of the digital library. The college library has an e-library with Inflibnet and Nlist (e-library) giving access to 1,99,500 e-books, 6000 e-journals and 6,00,000 NDL e-books

SBVR Central Library housed in the college premises in a separate spacious hall.  The library is equipped with 150 seating capacity. It is partially automated with all its subsystems having air-ventilated Reading Hall and has Fiber Optic connectivity and Wi-Fi.

The College Library has in stock about 12972 books on various subjects and bound periodicals. Some rare and out-of-print books and journals are also available. Over 20 Periodicals and 04 newspapers are available in the Library Reading Room.
